De L\u2019\u00c9ternit\u00e9 d\u2019Arthur Rimbaud \u00e0 La Recherche du temps perdu de Marcel Proust, en passant par L\u2019Odyss\u00e9e d’Hom\u00e8re ou La M\u00e9tamorphose de Franz Kafka, mes productions couvrent l\u2019histoire de la litt\u00e9rature mondiale pour composer une biblioth\u00e8que id\u00e9ale mondiale et humaniste o\u00f9 le texte a \u00e0 voir avec l\u2019image. Dans un travail artisanal, presque monacal, je fais face aux livres dans la solitude de mon atelier pour les transfigurer en toiles de signes devenus abstraits et pourtant d\u2019une accessibilit\u00e9 directe.<\/p>\n
Habit\u00e9 par le mythe de P\u00e9n\u00e9lope, des moires et des cosmogonies Dogon, je travaille \u00e0 la main fil apr\u00e8s fil \u00e0 l’\u00e9mergence d’une texture, d’une mati\u00e8re qui serait r\u00e9cit, temps et voir, avec la conscience que le travail d’une oeuvre est avant tout le travail d’une vie, et que je pourrais r\u00e9aliser autant d’oeuvres qu’il existe de livres, multipliant inlassablement les pistes de l’imagination. \u00bb<\/p>\n

In an artisanal, almost monastic way, I work with books in the solitude of my studio to transform them into canvases of characters that have become abstract and yet are directly accessible.<\/p>\n
